It's pretty sad, but I like the story. Btw which anime have larger robots than zearth? 500m sounds huge to me. O_o

Sure, most everyone dies, but it's the manner they choose to die that's important. I didn't believe it was very predictable aside from death being the end result for the main characters.It's the way they ended the story that made it worth it to finish. Kind of a reflection for the unsung heroes.

I've heard a lot of stuff about this show, and started reading the manga, up to the point where you figure out that the whole premise is basically that everyone dies. I stopped reading then, because I didn't see the point of reading if it was just going to be depressing as hell and predictable as well. Was I too hasty though? Is there still a good reason to read/watch it? Is there something deeper about it that I missed because I didn't finish it?
