ゆめ　にっき　is indeed a RPG maker created game, in order to play it you must install the RPG maker run-time program. the directory of ./../ゆめにっき/ゆめにっき0.10 has everything in it that RPG maker needs to run. the icon is RPG maker test-game, and you can edit it in RPG maker.on the official site its even stated there.

It used some backgrounds from the RPG maker 2000 (and I'm assuming 2003 and XP and VX) Run time Package... So, unless a game that LOOKS like it could have been done on RPG maker also steals assets from RPG maker...

Thats not RPG maker, Its an official pc game called Yume Nikki.

This is an RPG maker game... I can tell from the cloudy sky background in the beginning. It comes with RPG Maker. One of the more in depth RPG maker games, no doubt, but RPG maker nonetheless.
