It would help young athletes stay in form if it's raining/snowing outside. Plus if you live in London, it's quite hard to find a decent place to run, because of pollution etc.

I see many comments bashing this game in favor of real jogging. However, not everyone has that luxury. Try jogging in Tokyo. I live in the most crowded district of Tokyo, Shibuya. Aside from there being no green areas, the side walks are extremely crowded and surrounding roads filled with taxi exhaust. I have a gym membership, but try working a 9-9 job and spending another 2 hours a day changing into gym clothes making the trip after/before work. I can save 1 hour a day using this game.
