Day of defeat source is a game released BEFORE team fortress 2. They had an update for DoD in summer of 2008 where they implemented many of the updates from TF2 into the game (thats why it looks similar). Both games are similar as they are made by the same company (Valve) but they are very different because one is realistic, slow WW2 shooter and the other is a comical, fast paced shooter.

steam accounts are free.and you can get CS2, HL2, DOD:S, and HL2DM for $20 ($20 for all of them, not $20 each).and the accounts you're dealing are probably hacked and the new holders will probably get in trouble for having them.i'd play it safe and buy the 4 games for $20, lol.

this makes TF2 look like crap....actually like a cartoon, because it is. It also makes the different classes in TF2 look like nothing more than a change of clothes, lol. I'd take this over TF2 any day of the year actually, although i don't totally hate TF2.
