For those are new to him, he was the quite possibly the most "trademark possessor" in the comic TV circuit in Japan back in the 80s'. He established himself as "hot" on prime time hours, just like Steve Urkle of Family Matters, he came out as a supporting character that spread the fire. A very talented guy that stands next to Takeshi Kitano.
