Jazz does not come from technical skills nor from theory but both elements can make your musical vobabulary bigger.Love this video but as a drummer I wonder why Mr Campbell mounts his cymbals in such akward positions - way up and nearly vertical which should make them hard to reach and really ruin the sound.

Stanley Jordan has this really nice way of phrasing, it's a bit of a shame that tapping his solo the whole time took away from his control of sound and clarity. Just my personal opinion. The bass player is a monster.
